Mom and Me Camp

We held our first Mom and Me camp at Camp Magruder at the start of August. This event was designed for moms, aunts, and grandmothers to be able to bring their children grade K-2 to camp with them for some special "mom" time. It was also a time of making new friends, laughter, and fun. Campers enjoyed arts and crafts projects, hiking to the tide pools, playing on the big swing, swimming, boating, wave jumping, and parachute games. Other highlights included campfires, s'mores, and the play structure. It was a wonderful weekend and we can't wait until next summer for the second annual Mom and Me camp.
